Philanthropy & Community Outreach

Giving Back Across Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Westchester-Los Angeles
At Oral Surgery Partners, our commitment to patient care extends beyond the operating room. We believe in serving the communities where we live and work — not just as healthcare providers, but as active volunteers, mentors, and advocates for better access to oral health.
From helping underserved children to supporting military veterans and volunteering at free clinics, our surgeons proudly donate their time and expertise across Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Westchester-Los Angeles.
Give Kids a Smile®
Improving Children’s Oral Health, One Smile at a Time
Give Kids a Smile is a national initiative supported by the California Dental Association and held each February during National Children’s Dental Health Month. It provides dental care to children from low-income families who would otherwise go without.
Our team at Oral Surgery Partners has actively supported this program for years — not only by delivering oral surgery services, but also by recruiting volunteer dentists, securing supplies, and fundraising to expand the program’s reach across the South Bay.

Everyone for Veterans
Honoring Those Who Served
Dr. Trent Westernoff and Dr. Martin Mardirosian participate in Everyone for Veterans, a national nonprofit connecting underserved veterans with healthcare providers who offer pro bono care.
Through this program, our practice proudly offers surgical services to military veterans who have limited or no access to dental care.

Crowns for Kids
Recycling for a Cause
Led by Dr. Westernoff through the West Los Angeles Dental Society, the Crowns for Kids program allows patients to donate their old crowns or extracted teeth containing precious metals. These materials are recycled, and proceeds go toward funding dental care for underserved children in our community.
This simple act helps patients feel empowered while directly supporting pediatric dental health through the South Bay Children’s Health Center.

CDA Cares
Statewide Volunteer Dental Clinics
As part of our commitment to expanding access to care, Oral Surgery Partners participates in CDA Cares — a program of the California Dental Association Foundation that provides free dental treatment to thousands of Californians.
At each event, our surgeons join hundreds of volunteers to offer care to over 2,000 patients in need, performing extractions, consultations, and emergency oral surgery at no cost to the patient.
Remote Area Medical (RAM)
Helping Where It’s Needed Most
We’re proud to support Remote Area Medical (RAM) — a global nonprofit that brings free medical, dental, and vision services to underserved populations. RAM’s Los Angeles events in 2009 and 2010 served nearly 8,000 uninsured or underinsured residents, thanks to over 700 volunteers.
Our oral surgeons volunteered on-site, providing necessary surgical care to individuals who otherwise had no access to treatment. RAM’s mission aligns closely with ours: to eliminate barriers to healthcare for those most in need.

Creating Bright Smiles: Ongoing Outreach
Through our Creating Bright Smiles initiative, Oral Surgery Partners supports local outreach programs year-round — from treatment days and student mentorship to sponsoring school-based health efforts. We believe in creating long-term change by investing in preventive care and oral health education.
