Dr. Joshua Wohlgemuth is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon providing expert surgical care across Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Westchester-Los Angeles. Known for his meticulous approach and warm bedside manner, Dr. Wohlgemuth brings a unique blend of clinical excellence, research background, and genuine compassion to each patient interaction.
He specializes in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, full-arch reconstruction, and sedation-based treatment, serving patients throughout the South Bay.

Education & Surgical Training
Originally from South Florida, Dr. Wohlgemuth earned his undergraduate degree from George Washington University, graduating magna cum laude with a double major in Business Administration and Chemistry.
Inspired by his father, a practicing orthodontist, Dr. Wohlgemuth went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he was elected Class President and awarded multiple leadership honors.
He continued his medical and surgical training in California, earning his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at UCLA School of Dentistry, along with a year of General Surgery at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Wohlgemuth practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with advanced training in:

- Wisdom teeth removal with IV sedation or general anesthesia

- Reconstructive facial surgery following trauma or disease
